A 29 year old man of Sabeto Nadi charged with rape appeared in Nadi Magistrate Court today.
The court was told that the 29 year old who was staying with the 10 year old victim's family allegedly raped her.
He pleaded guilty to the charges and refused to seek the assistance of a lawyer and Legal Aid. In mitigation he asked for forgiveness and requested for another chance.
He has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced on 30th January.
