Police are expected to lay charges on the 28-year-old husband later this afternoon who allegedly murdered his 39-year-old wife at their Ragg Avenue, Namadi Heights home early Sunday morning.
Police Media Liaison Officer Atunaisa Sokomuri said they are still waiting for the post mortem report of the deceased, as the doctors are still assessing their report.
Sokomuri added they are now putting their evidence together and the case should be ready by this afternoon.
Police said there were stab wounds on the victim and a knife has been recovered from the crime scene.
It had been confirmed that the deceased was a business woman from the United Kingdom and moved into the house a few weeks ago with her husband and three children.
