A 42-year-old farmer appeared in Labasa court today charged with the alleged murder of his 38-year-old over the weekend.
Chandar Deo appeared before Magistrate Ben Lomaloma but no plea was taken and he has been advised to seek legal assistance. He has been remanded in custody until 21st July.
He is alleged to have stabbed his wife Meena Wati with a kitchen knife after a domestic dispute, late Friday afternoon. Wati's mutilated body was found by her 14-year-old son.
