A 32-year-old man of Colo-I-Suva charged with the alleged murder of a 38-year-old woman of Kinoya appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court this morning.
No plea was taken as Setefano Naususu appeared before Magistrate Salesi Temo charged with one count of murder, robbery with violence and robbery.
Naususu informed Magistrate Temo that he wanted to seek the assistance of Legal Aid before entering a plea.
State Prosecutors then made application to transfer the matter to the High Court as charged laid against Naususu are very serious.
The matter was transferred to the High Court where his bail condition will be decided.
He has been remanded till the 9th of May, when the matter is called in the High Court.
