Alleged Fraudster Shalendra Sinha was today warned by Judge Justice Daniel Goundar to be present with his lawyer when the case is called on 15th January next year.
Sinha told the High Court through video conferencing that his lawyer Sushil Sharma sent instructions for someone to be present however there was no representation by anyone.
Sinha has been charged with more than 40 counts of Fraud related offences.
It is alleged he defrauded FIRCA and some other companies and people and he is also facing charges of impersonation after he allegedly obtained passports on several occasions under different names.
Sinha also allegedly defrauded the government of Vanuatu of more than 14 million Vatus.
