A 22 year old man charged with one count of assault is expected to appear in Nausori court tomorrow.
The accused of Naduru, Nausori allegedly assaulted a 21 year old of Vusuya, Nausori last Saturday.
Police could not ascertain detail statement from the victim due to the seriousness of his injuries as he is still admitted at CWM Hospital.
Meanwhile, more evidence is being sought with relations to the 39 year old taxi driver whose body was found in Colo-i-suva on Friday morning.
Police await the post mortem results to determine their next course of action. The deceased was reported missing on Thursday evening and a search was conducted.
