All works on the Tacirua and Nepani Housing lots by the Housing Authority is on hold until the soft loan from the Chinese Exim Bank comes through.
Acting CEO Alipate Naiorosui said they have started work with the Wainibuku Sub division, where a total of 235 lots are have been completed but are waiting for the loan top come through.
Naiorosui said though they are still waiting for the final signing, they have received lots of requests.
The $70 million soft loan from the Chinese bank is expected to be shared by the Housing Authority and the Public Rental Board with a decision expected next week.
