All submissions on the draft village by-laws have been handed in by the 14 provincial councils in the country.
Ministry of I-Taukei Affairs official, Pita Namotu said are expected to discuss and go through all the submissions that have come in from the villages.
Namotu said the Ministry will also hold meetings with stakeholders including NGO's as they will also raise their opinions on the draft village by-laws.
Meanwhile the Deputy Permanent Secretary of I-Taukei Affairs Colonel Apakuki Kurusiga earlier highlighted some new submissions received include recommendations like not accepting relationships between same sex partners in the villages, drinking kava to be restricted till 11pm, no smoking during functions in the village and all rowdy behaviour to be eliminated amongst others.
