The Education Ministry said none of the schools should be charging book fees if the text books are being provided by the government.
Minister Filipe Bole said the ministry has advised all schools that were providing text books.
Meanwhile, this morning textbooks were shipped in two container trucks to Nabouwalu.
Bole said head teachers of primary schools in Vanua Levu can collect their textbooks from their respective District Education Office by tomorrow.
The Western Division schools are expected to receive their textbooks by next week and the Ministry is targeting rural and remote schools first.
To date schools in the Eastern Division, in Lau, Kadavu, Lomaiviti and Rotuma have all been supplied with their textbooks.
