On day two at Murrayfield all eyes will be on the crucial battle between New Zealand and Samoa for the 11th IRB Sevens World Series title.
New Zealand has won eight of the 10 World Series so far but began the final event seven points adrift of Samoa.
If the Samoans reach the Cup final tonight, they are guaranteed their first World Series title.
If, however, they slip up New Zealand can still clinch the Series, should they go on and win the Cup here.
Meanwhile, the Digicel Fiji 7s team are through to the quarter finals and it will not be an easy road for the Iliesa Tanivula coached side.
Fiji will meet London 7s champions, Australia in the third quarterfinal at 11:17pm.
Looking at the other quarterfinal matches, at 10:33pm current IRB series points leaders, Samoa meet South Africa, at 10:55pm hosts Scotland meet England and the last Cup quarterfinal at 11:39pm New Zealand take on Argentina.
If Fiji wins the quarter finals against Australia, they meet the winner from quarter finals between New Zealand and Argentina, however if they lose they meet the loser from the game between New Zealand and Argentina for the semifinal of the Plate competition
The first game tonight is at 9:05pm, the Bowl quarterfinals where France will meet Italy.
Looking at the results from Fiji's pool games, Fiji lost to Scotland 31-14, they went on to beat Wales 26-7 and also beat USA 24-12.
