Through the State Services Decree, the President has also reinstated all state Offices.

These include the Office of the Supervisor of Elections, the Commissioner of Prisons, the Auditor General, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Commissioner of Police, Commander of the RFMF, members of the electoral and Constituency Boundaries Commission, the members of the Commission on Prerogative of Mercy referred to in the decree, and the Public Service Commission and its members and its functions.

The State Services Decree also reinstates the appointments of the Ambassadors.

The decree further states that the appointment of the Commissioner of Police, Commissioner of Prisons and PSC Chairman, will now be done by the President following consultations with the Prime Minister.

The DPP is to be appointed by the President following consultations with the Attorney General.
