Krishneel Prasad of All Saints Secondary School bagged the first gold in the 3000 metres event in the Macuata Zone 1 athletics competition after he finished in first place ahead of Dhirendra Prasad of Khalsa Secondary School.
Looking at the gold medal tally so far, All Saints leads with 2 gold medals in the boy’s division.
Gurunanak Secondary School also stamped their mark after they claimed gold in the senior girl’s discus.
In the Vatukoula/Tavua/Ra Zone currently underway at the Ra Sports Ground, Nadarivatu High School currently leads the medal tally for both the girls and boys with 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze, and second is Nakauvadra with 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze and third Ra High School with 2 gold, 1 silver.
