All the New Zealand Super Rugby franchises have confirmed their Super Rugby squads for the next season with some of the former All Blacks players returning to the fold.

Hurricanes coach Mark Hammett has declared next year as moving season after naming the most settled squad with just four new players while the return of former All Blacks prop John Schwalger is of greater benefit to the Hurricanes tight five.

The Chiefs welcomes the return of All Blacks Mils Muliaina and Jamie Mackintosh and they are also looking to unleash Robbie Fruen in the Chiefs colours.

Ben Smith and Nasi Manu will co captain a revamped Highlanders squad.

The Highlanders have been hit hardest by defections and have thought outside the square to fill some vacancies, introducing 14 new players with former Auckland Blues centre Winston Stanley lured back to New Zealand from the Western Force.

The Blues have named loose forward Luke Braid as their skipper with high profile signings, luring Tony Woodcock back from the Highlanders and also picking up Ma'a Nonu while throwing a fair amount of risk into cross code player Benji Marshall.

Seven time champions the Crusaders will unleash giant Fijian wing Nemani Nadolo in the 2014 Super Rugby season.

Nadolo is currently with the Flying Fijians in the Northern tour.

Colin Slade is also back for the Crusaders.
