Everything is in place and going according to plan with regards to the commitment on elections made by the Interim Prime Minister to the European Union and the Pacific Forum Leaders.

This is the comment of the Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum who said that this should be an indicator to the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua (SDL) Party.

According to the SDL resolution number 14 at their AGM last Friday, the party was concerned at the long delay in the appointment of the supervisor of elections and calls for the Interim Prime Minister to stick to his commitments.

Sayed-Khaiyum said posts have been filled while the Supervisor of Elections position will be finalized in the next few weeks.
