The All Blacks 7s team thrashed Canada 54-7 in the Cup final.

Scott Curry and Ben Lam scored two tries each as Gordon Tietjens’ side were ruthless in the victory against a Canada side playing in their first-ever Cup final. 

Captain DJ Forbes said all the credit goes to the players.


The win sees New Zealand on 158 on course to win a 12th title in 15 years.

South Africa is in second place with 139 while Fiji is third with 129 points. 

The last leg of the sevens series kicks off in England this weekend.
