The Crusaders will be boosted by the return of All Blacks Dan Carter, Kieran Read and Israel Dagg for their must-win Super Rugby match against competition leaders the Chiefs tomorrow night.
The trio missed the loss to the Hurricanes last round, with the Crusaders currently fifth overall and in line for one of the wildcard playoff berths.
Carter recovered from the hamstring injury which kept him out of the final All Blacks test against Ireland while Read is over the concussion he suffered in the second test and Dagg has recovered from a sprained ankle.
With the return of Read at number eight, Richie McCaw returns to openside flanker while brothers Ben and Owen Franks will both start at prop, with Wyatt Crockett on the bench.
Crusaders will meet the Chiefs at 7:35pm tomorrow while the Reds will tackle the Highlanders at 9:40pm.
