The All Blacks forwards are aware they need to step up their game when they take on France in Paris on Sunday.
New Zealand loose-forward Liam Messam identified set pieces and the driving maul as the areas they expect France to target.
All Blacks Coach Steve Hanson said they will not be playing down the French.

The All Blacks will take on France at 9am this Sunday.
In other test matches this Sunday England will host Argentina at 3.30am, Wales will play South Africa at 6.30am while Ireland will take on Samoa at 6.45am.
Meanwhile, the Flying Fijians will take on Portugal in their first Europe Tour match at 4am this Sunday.
