All Blacks coach Steve Hansen said they're looking forward to creating history when New Zealand play the United States in Chicago later this year.

The one off test has been confirmed for November the 2nd at the 61 thousand seat Soldier Field, home of the American NFL side the Chicago Bears.

It will be the first rugby match ever played at the venue and just the third test between the two sides, who last met on American soil in 1980.

The All Blacks will travel to Chicago for the American test before continuing to Europe for their end of year tour.

Meanwhile in the Super Rugby this Friday the Hurricanes will take on the Highlanders at 7.35pm.
