The All Blacks arrive in Brisbane today still hurting from yesterday's Tri-Nations loss to South Africa, but a couple of players are probably hurting even more after missing out on the World Cup squad.

Coach Graham Henry said he will be talking to players following the Port Elizabeth match and a couple of the current squad will be returning home knowing they're not wanted next month.

While the World Cup squad is officially announced tomorrow, the players will already know if they're required.

Fullback Israel Dagg and wing Isaia Toeava impressed on their return to action in Port Elizabeth, meaning the culling of the three-quarters is perhaps the hardest job to make.

Zac Guildford will miss out and so could Cory Jane, Hosea Gear or Sitiveni Sivivatu who all impressed during the Tri-Nations.
