The All Blacks forwards are looking to front up again as they prepare to monster the French pack in tomorrow night’s World Cup final at Eden Park.
One of the least talked about aspects of the All Blacks impressive semi final win over the Wallabies was the absolute domination up front from their pack.
New Zealand outmuscled their Australian counterparts up front, winning the battle of the breakdown despite the presence of outstanding Wallabies open side David Pocock.
But the All Blacks are bracing for another big challenge in that area and say they rate the French loose forward trio of Thierry Dusautoir, Julien Bonnaire and Imanol Harinordoquy among the best in the world.
Don’t forget the firing All Blacks back-line that tore the Wallabies defence apart last week which can be expected tomorrow.
Center, Ma’a Nonu said they will bear in mind what all France has done to All Blacks rugby in the past when they run into Eden Park tomorrow.
Right Wing, Cory Jane who was superb in the high ball area against the Wallabies says this is just another game for him.
And the young fullback, Israel Dagg wants to show his anger against France tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Paris is preparing to give rugby fans a taste of the Rugby World Cup final this weekend, a large screen has been set up outside the Paris city hall and there seems to be a lot of support for the French team on the streets.
All week the French newspapers have featured articles about the match, and some claim to have even found a few flaws in the All Blacks game which Les Bleus could take advantage of.
