The return to fitness of wing, Waisake Naholo is being welcomed by his All Blacks teammates at the Rugby World Cup as they begin preparations to face Georgia on Saturday.

Naholo ran without difficulty in New Zealand’s first full training run in Cardiff on Sunday and is expected to fulfil the long‑range plan of making his tournament debut in their third pool game.

The match will be a trial of sorts for Naholo, who hasn’t played since fracturing his leg.

Established left wing, Julian Savea says he welcomes the increased competition now that Naholo is fit.

The All Blacks will face Georgia at 7am Saturday.
