Crusaders flyhalf, Dan Carter believes the All Blacks have been given added determination to win this year's Rugby World Cup following the earthquake which ravaged his hometown of Christchurch.

Carter admitted that the disaster would serve as motivation to the New Zealand team as they aim to lift the Webb Ellis trophy in October having not won it since 1987.

Meanwhile, Carter also fronted the English media and spoke about the Crusaders upcoming Super 15 match against the Sharks.

Carter said they are playing this match for the people back in Christchurch and the team is hopeful of receiving huge support in Twickenham.
