The All Blacks will shift their focus towards Argentina as Sonny Bill Williams will head to Japan.

Williams will link up with Panasonic Wild Knights later this week with 19 tests under his belt but his absence will not be felt for the All Blacks.

The loss of SBW will be offset by the fact that his international partner at second five-eighth B Ma’a Nonu B will likely be back to 12.

Conrad Smith will line up against Argentina as the veteran has recovered sufficiently from his eye injury.

Smith, unlike Julian Savea and Victor Vito, has not been released to play for Wellington.

The All Blacks will host the Pumas at 7:35pm next Saturday.
