Many say it is an irresistible force meeting an immovable object when the All Blacks host the undefeated Springboks tonight in round four of the Rugby Championship.

The All Blacks have won their last 30 tests on Eden Park in a run which stretches back to 1994, and have been victorious in six of their last seven tests against the South Africans.

Both sides are in tremendous form with the Boks on a nine-test winning streak and the New Zealanders have six.

All Blacks coach Steve Hanson has 184 tests of experience between Keven Mealamu and Andrew Hore but he gave Dane Coles the nod in what shapes as a pivotal outing.

Hanson said the Boks will zero in on the greenhorn All Black forwards like a heat-seeking missile on its target.

The All Blacks will host the Springboks at 7.35 tonight while the Wallabies host the Pumas at 10.05pm.
