Investigation against Assistant police commissioner Crime Nasir Ali after receiving complaints from a police support officer at Central police station and some police officers from Police Mobile force whom Ali had sent on leave for not following his orders are still ongoing.
Police Commissioner, Commodore Esala Teleni said they want to find out the truth of the allegations against Ali.
Commodore Teleni said he is treating the allegations seriously especially since it is against a senior police officer.
Commodore Teleni told Village news early this week that Nasir Ali will no longer report to the Deputy Police Commissioner Eroni Antonio since he has appointed him to lead a special investigation team and will report directly to the commissioner.
