Former Fiji Sports Council Chief Executive, Alice Tabete who was under investigation in relation to alleged abuse of office and mismanagement at the council office has not returned with the Netball Fiji team.
Village News has been informed that Tabete was allowed to leave our shores to attend the World Netball Championships in NZ as she is the President of Netball Fiji.
However it has been confirmed that Tabete has stayed back in NZ and may now take off to the US. There is no word on when Tabete will return to the country.
Tabete knew that she was under investigation before she left for NZ.
