The FMF Flying Fijians team management has not imposed a complete alcohol ban on the boys during the World Cup in France.
Speaking to Village sports, manager Pio Bosco Tikoisuva said there is an understanding for a few glasses during "after-match" functions, but apart from that the boys know what is expected from them.
The FMF Flying Fijians plays Japan in their opening match next Thursday at 4am.
Meanwhile England rugby team captain Phil Vickery said they are happy to go into the tournament as the underdogs despite being the reigning champions.
