An alarming number of motorists were booked around the country over the long weekend for careless and dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Director Traffic, SSP Mahesh Mishra said Police will not tolerate such drivers and most of these drivers even may get their license suspended after 752 people were booked over the weekend.
Meanwhile, a 25 year old man is still admitted at the CWM hospital who was involved in a hit and run accident in Wainibokasi, on Saturday morning.
Police are still hunting for the driver of the taxi who is alleged to have hit the man.
