Fiji’s Olympic Athlete Danielle Alakija failed to qualify for the Women’s 400 meters quarter final after clocking 56.77 seconds in the heats last night.
Meanwhile, our athletes who are yet to take part are Glen Kable who is shooting in the Men’s Trap qualification tomorrow and lastly Leslie Copeland takes part in the Men’s Javelin next Thursday.
Looking at the medal tally, USA is now leading the medal tally with 21 gold, 9 silver and 11 bronze, China is second with 20 gold, 13 silver, 9 bronze and Korea is third with 9 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze.
