The Ministry of Public Enterprise is now investigating certain allegations of abuse of office leveled against former executives of Airports Fiji Limited.
Interim Minister Poseci Bune said he is awaiting an audit report on AFL before further steps are taken.
Bune said it was due to the alleged abuse of tax dollars that the previous board of AFL was replaced by the Interim Government.
Former AFL CEO Ratu Sakiusa Tuisolia said there was an audit conducted by the Auditor General last year which found no discrepancies or abuse of public funds.

The Methodist Church of Fiji has resolved to request all town and city councils around the country to ensure that no business is permitted to open on Sunday and any other day significant on the Christian calendar.
Members of the church attending the conference in Naduri, Macuata endorsed that Divisional Superintendents will now write to the town and city councils to respect the Sabbath by banning Sunday trading, including all major sales on Sundays.
The Church will also request that no trading be allowed on other Christian holidays, like Easter and Christmas.
