Quarantine charges at the airports and sea ports will increase after Government approved a submission by the Health Ministry so as to help recover its costs.
Permanent Secretary Dr Sala Saketa said the Ministry has been providing the service free of charge to one of the port of entries for many years now.
She added the increase has to be implemented to be able to cover the cost of providing the services.
