Fiji Airways is returning in June 2013.
Managing Director and CEO Air Pacific Dave Pflieger said from extensive brand market research conducted, their current brand Air Pacific is not working and it is not recognized, not notable and does not help sell tickets.
He added research online showed that prices on the internet with the word Fiji drove customer purchase and not the words Air Pacific.
Meanwhile, Air Pacific also donated $100,000 to the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief account.
