Staffs of Fiji’s international airline Air Pacific are expected to receive their pay restoration next week.

Air Pacific CEO and Managing Director John Campbell said the pay cut, implemented 3 months ago, was reviewed in early August and a decision taken to reinstate pay for all staff to normal levels at the conclusion of the three month period was done.

Campbell said full pay is being reinstated from the end of this month.

Transport Workers Union General Secretary Kamlesh Kumar confirmed his workers are to receive their pay restoration by the 27th of August.

All staff of the airline received 10% pay cut while management took a 15% pay cut due to the global financial crisis and devaluation.
