These are the words of Transport Workers Union General Secretary, Kamlesh Kumar on the memorandum of understanding signed with the Air Pacific management on the three month 10% paycut for all staff.
Kumar said this paycut must be restored on the 27th of August as agreed to by all the parties that signed the MOU earlier this week.
Under the MOU, all Air Pacific staff are to get a 10% paycut for three months, executive management a 15% paycut while management and contracted staff a 10% pay cut for six months, subject to review after three months.
