All Air Fiji Offices have been shut down until further notice and the employees have been barred from entering the premises at the Nausori and Nadi Airports.

Many of the phone lines to Air Fiji Offices also say that the line is no longer available.

Some employees of Air Fiji also claim that they have not been paid for over two weeks and they are not being told what the future holds for them.

Meanwhile, attempts to contact the Air Fiji CEO and the Manager Finance proved futile.

We have also received confirmation that a delegation from the Tuvalu Government, which is the major shareholder in Air Fiji Limited is expected to meet with Government officials today.

The Tuvalu delegation arrived in the country yesterday and it has been confirmed that all Air Fiji operations remain suspended since last Friday as the employees await word from the Board on their future with the Company.
