Fiji's top 7s rugby players will enter the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament today with only one aim and that is to be part of the Fiji 7s squad to the Hong Kong and Adelaide 7s tournaments.
Fiji 7s coach Joe Savou met with selectors Ilivasi Tabua and Jope Tuikabe yesterday to lay out the selection criteria.
Speaking to Village sports, Digicel Fiji coach Joe Savou said aggressiveness would be the key point when looking out for the best to represent Fiji.
Meanwhile New Zealand 7s captain DJ Forbes, who will be one of the guests at the Marist 7s tournament tomorrow, said Fiji can win in Hong Kong especially with the return of William Ryder, Nasoni Roko and Semisi Naevo.
The Marist 7s tournament starts in the next hour with the opening match between defending champions Nawaka and Gladiators. The games will also be played at the Suva Grammar School grounds today.
