Despite being affected by the recent flood, Ba soccer team’s six players will accompany the team to New Zealand to play their last O-league pool match against AS Tefana this Sunday.

Ba soccer secretary, Iliaz Khan said total of eight players were affected by the floods however Peter Hughes and Aisea Codro’s house sustained damages.

He added the team trained at Ba Soccer Academy however there were some hiccups as the players had to find time to clean their houses and assist their neighbours. 

Ba has to score twenty clear goals to qualify for the O-league final.

Ba team flies out to New Zealand today as the match against AS Tefana will kickoff at 4.30pm on Sunday.
