It was an adventurous night for 21 year old Helen Kanacoco of Savusavu when she welcomed 2009 in a different style at the CFL street party.
Kanacoco who came from Savusavu to Suva last year said the atmosphere at Albert Park was electrifying and she was also shocked to see thousands of people from various ethnic groups standing together and welcoming the new year.
Kanacoco adds she is looking forward for Thursday night's Fiji street party with Digicel Digi Max.
The Fiji Street Party and New Year countdown will be held this Thursday from 7pm to 1am at the Albert Park.
