As we approach the cyclone season, a new and more advanced flood warning system is expected to be installed in certain flood prone areas.
National Disaster Management Officer, Pajiliai Duobui said the new flood warning system are more advanced and it will provide ample time for people to prepare themselves before flood hits their area.
The warning systems will initially be installed in Rewa, Ba and Nadi which is expected to be funded by the French Government.
