The Nadi Town Council administrator will now pay visits to ratepayers to understand their situation and reasons as to why they are not able to pay their rates.
Administrator Aisea Tuidraki said after understanding their problems, he will then issue out their default notices and take action against the ratepayers.
He also said that ratepayers can also make arrangements with the council to clear their rates which have not been paid.
