The Ministry for Women, Social Welfare and Housing are seeking the same allocation for its Ministry in the 2008 National Budget which they were allocated this year.
Interim Social Welfare Minister, Adi Laufitu Malani said that she is confident that they will receive the same amount however they are hoping to get an increase for housing.
The 2008 National Budget address will be delivered at 11am this Friday by the Interim Minister for Finance, Mahendra Chaudhry at the Tradewinds Convention Centre in Lami.
