Additional rape charges have been laid against the 39-year-old villager of Deuba who is still being questioned in relation to the rape and murder of the 14-year-old girl in Deuba two weeks ago.
Police spokesperson Josaia Weicavu says the man has been charged with the rape of three girls.
These incidents came to light as Police was conducting investigations regarding the recent rape and murder case.
Weicavu says these cases were never reported to the Police.
The 39-year-old man has now been charged for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in 1998 and a 16-year-old girl in 2002.
These cases were highlighted by the victims.
He will appear in court for these cases tomorrow.
The man has already appeared in court for allegedly raping his 16-year-old niece in Deuba two years ago.
Weicavu says no charges have been laid in relation to the rape and murder of the 14-year-old girl.
The investigation regarding alleged parental negligence is also underway.
Police have a press conference on the recent Deuba case at 10am today.
