Acting President Chief Justice Anthony Gates has issued the Writ of Elections which starts off the next phase of procedures to be followed for next month’s general elections.
With the issuance of the writ today, this also means that voter and political party registration will end at 6 tonight.
People who have not registered to vote have only until 6 tonight to register at the allocated voter registration centres set up by the Elections Office.
