Three weeks in office and the newly appointed Acting Director of Public Prosecutions has already started working on upgrading the skill of the DPP lawyers.
In an interview with Fijivillage, Aca Rayawa said he paid a visit to the officers in the Western and Northern Division and will start monitoring the work of the officers in the Central Eastern Division this week.
Rayawa said he has set his goals on capacity building so that serious and demanding cases can be handled by DPP officers rather than contracting the cases to private lawyers.
Rawaya who was a former Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption lawyer is replacing the former DPP John Rabuku.
