Over 500 accountants and invited guests have converged on Denarau for two days for the Certified Practicing Accountants Congress which starts today.
President for the CPA Australia and Fiji Branch, Pradeep Lal said this congress will be used to address the accountants and guests on the changes and challenges being faced by them.
Lal said that they will also be taking a local angle where their speakers will be focusing on a number of Legislative changes and the current launch of e-money eco system in the country as well as the micro finance especially the Vodafone M-Paisa and Digicel Mobile Money.
The CPA Congress is being currently held at the Sheraton Denarau until tomorrow and will see speakers like Air Pacific Chief Executive Dave Pflieger and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
