Four hotels in Fiji run by the Accor Hotels New Zealand and South Pacific are demonstrating their commitment to sustainability on a daily basis, through the group's ongoing Earth Guest program.

Accor Area Manager for Fiji Paul Archer says sustainable development is an issue of huge importance to their business, adding that it's crucial that both guests and employees are aware of sustainability issues, and awareness is the first step in creating change.

Archer says the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa, Novotel Nadi, Mecure Hotel Nadi and Tradewinds Hotel and Convention Centre are all committed to achieving full Green Globe Certification in 2009.
