Accident victim needs identification
The call comes after the man who was involved in a hit and run accident in Wainibokasi, Nausori early this morning remains unidentified.
The man's situation has not improved and he remains admitted in a critical condition at the CWM hospital.
The incident occurred at around 1.30 this morning and Police are now looking for the driver of the car who fled the scene after hitting the man, who is in his late 20s.
In another incident, Police continue their search for the man whose car went off the road and tumbled in Koronivia at around four this morning. Police believe the driver was drunk and lost control of his car. This driver also fled the scene after the accident.
Meanwhile, an alarming 160 cases of road offences were recorded in the last 24 hours for the whole of Fiji.
Director Traffic, SSP Mahesh Mishra said this only means that motorists have become more careless on our roads adding care must be taken as a driver and as a pedestrian.
