Police have laid charges on the driver of the vehicle that was involved in an accident in Valley Road Keiyasi last month which claimed a life of a passenger.
The driver and five passengers are alleged to have fled from the scene leaving the victim behind who later died at the hospital.
Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra said police were able to locate the driver on Tuesday and he has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death.
SSP Mishra also said that Eroni Bose appeared in Sigatoka court on Tuesday and no plea has been taken.
He has been released on bail with strict bail condition and has been told to seek a lawyer.
The case has been adjourned till 30th October.
