A 45 year old taxi driver of Lami has been admitted at the Intensive Care Unit in Lautoka Hospital after the taxi he was driving, veered off the Queens Road at Saweni, Lautoka, on Thursday.
The accident occurred in the morning when the taxi was heading towards Nadi.
There were no passengers in the taxi at the time of the accident.
Police are once again advising motorists and pedestrians to take extra precaution.
