Members of the community and family members of the former mental health patients should learn to accept them back at home.
Head of the Fiji Health and Sector Improvement Program, Dr Vilikesa Rabukawaqa said after going through mental health teaching and training, the patients have improved and recovered well.
Dr Rabukawaqa said people should recognize the capability of the former patients.
Early this week Fiji was awarded the Awards of Excellence in Psychiatric Development by the Asian Federation along with Sri Lanka, Cambodia and the Cook Islands.
